Hey guys, 

This is going to sound a little rant-y, but I feel like I need to vent somewhere.

I feel restricted. I love my parents and I know they support me being an artist, but they don't know how to nurture it. I just graduated SVA, and I want to make my own stuff for a bit to expand my brand. But nope, parents think the best way to handle this is to throw me into work right away. I tell I want to do my own thing, but nope. Get a job make money. I want to tell them I want to work on my own stuff and figure out how I want to approach freelancing. They say they want to understand how this kind of work goes, but when ever I tell them, they say, "thats not how things are done." 

After I finish my sister's commission, I don't care what my parents think. I'm taking time to work on my own things, without grades. This way, I can practice new techniques, expand my range, hopefully grow a fan base, build a portfolio/reel to show potential clients/employers. I just wish they knew that I know what I'm doing.

Hey guys,

So I recently just finished my thesis film Le Chapeau. It didnt turn out how I would have wanted it to, but its better than nothing. I will more than likely work on it in my spare time as a sort of "directors cut." My advisor says that I should be proud of it and how much blood, sweat, tears, and many sleepless nights working on making it.  

I will be posting it on YouTube in May, so make sure to keep posted on that. 

I hope that where ever my grandma is, she is proud that I made a film in her honor. Hope you guys will stay tuned and watch and support my thesis film that I worked soooooooo hard on.

Hey guys, 

I know it has literally been 2 years since I had written a journal entry. IM SORRY!!!! IVE BEEN SO CAUGHT UP WITH SCHOOL AND HOMEWORK!!!!! 

Anyways, I have decided to open commissions so I can start earning some income. PLEASE feel free to contact me about it or just help spread the word.

Also, I am entering my fourth and final year at SVA and are starting to think about my thesis film. Since I want it to be unique and personal, I'm going to make it about my grandma, since she and my grandpa had a huge hand in my path as an artist. I will post concepts and random things about that will relate to that.

Besides my art side, my social side has been very good. For the past 2 years, I have been in a relationship with someone who makes me extremely happy. He helps me with my characters, animations, stress and anxiety, and various problems that can come up during my art process. Together, we raise a roborovski hamster named Cinnamon and a rescued stray puppy named Coco. I have already created a character for Cinnamon by making her an animal friend to my female wizard OC and I am planning to make one for Coco. I'm thinking of making him a puppy sidekick to my ninja neko girl.
