Demon Within

my hope for the future is to become a special effects make up artist. this would be a prosthetic, but unfortunately, my school is fresh out of "prosthetic making" material. the concept of this is that everyone has a demon inside of them. for this person, the demon is starting to take over.

what i did was i took a hair styling head and made a bald cap out of tape and a plastic bag to cover the hair. next, with the help of my art teacher, submerged the head in alginate (the stuff dentists use to mold your teeth) and let it set. i then cut the mold in half and poured a mix of plaster and something else (forgot the name) into the two molds. once they set i took them out, glued them together and started sculpting with polymer clay.

if this was to become a prosthetic, this would be the second stage: the sculpting stage
